Thales Delivers AMASCOS Mission Systems To RMAF

Thales has delivered the first AMASCOS mission system on Beech 200 aircraft of the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

This is a modular architecture, these command multifunction consoles integrate with many sensors and sensors (radar, IFF, EO / IR, etc.) and allow various types of missions: air defense, anti-submarine, surface, and provides tactical situation and zone control.

The mission system is already in use on numerous platforms (ATR, Dash 8, Casa). Well established in the Asia Pacific region with 700 employees, 

Thales has also completed delivery to Indonesian Navy three Casa CN-325 AMASCOS with this system. Two other devices to be transformed are currently in negotiation according PTDI, which carries out the adaptation work

AMASCOS, presented in "touch" version with digital display during the LIMA exhibition is so widely used by many armies and meets in the ASEAN region with strong maritime surveillance needs. It would have been sold recently with the latest radar range searchmaster embedded with AESA antenna for ATL2 announced during the last Euronaval, which looks too successful.
